Counselor will be responsible for all preliminary proposed awards. A packaging philosophy will be available for guidance and reference. Each Counselor will take the “Geographic” section of the incoming class assigned through all phases of applying for and finalizing aid packages with final approval of Financial Aid Director. This process includes complete knowledge of loans, grants, scholarships, and external special programs. Financial Aid Director has final approval.
Each incoming student will remain with their assigned counselor throughout enrollment. Loans will continue to be billed in house after students graduate or separate from Hillsdale and accounts will be analyzed monthly for contacting past due loan recipients.
Student Loan Manager will oversee the processing and collection of all College loans, manage these loans within both Colleague and CRM. Keep Director informed of all pending litigation and other possible problems. This position is also be responsible for managing all loan budgets and allocating loan offers according to monies available.
Education and Experience
Baccalaureate degree is preferred. Two to five years of office experience with an accounting background is also preferred--or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to demonstrate the ability to perform the job.
