This position is a unique opportunity for a full-time application administrator to join our team.  You will be responsible for working together with application users (aka, our valued clients) to ensure the application lifecycle management of applications supporting the College’s work, including document imaging & management applications. The primary document imaging platform is Hyland Perceptive Content (formerly known as ImageNow). You may also perform lifecycle management activities for other applications used by College staff, faculty, and students to support the business and academic activities of the College.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• A Computer Science degree is a plus but not mandatory if you have a demonstrated grasp of software design and programming fundamentals.
• A minimum of five years of experience in an Application Administration or Systems Analyst role is required.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals
• Business process automation experience will be helpful in this role
• Modern cybersecurity and information security strategy and practice are important in this role

Physical Requirements

The ability to operate office equipment, including photocopiers, Scanners, computer equipment, display monitors, and the like, is required. The position is mainly sedentary but may require the incumbent to walk, stoop, crouch, or climb.

Other Skills

1. Experience with Hyland Perceptive Content (ImageNow) or other document imaging software is a plus.
2. Azure environment experience a plus - SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft Server OS.
3. Process mapping and experience with documentation of complex systems.
4. Experience gathering requirements from customers to deliver exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall application management lifecycle of software & certain hardware (e.g., document scanners) involved in delivering document imaging and management capabilities to the College
• Lead troubleshooting and problem resolution for technical issues as they occur, perform root cause analysis, and develop & document solutions to address the root cause and prevent reoccurrence
• Collaborate with department leaders, product users, and Information Technology Training experts to determine training needs and ensure appropriate training is available to maximize users’ capabilities with the document imaging and management systems
• Identify opportunities for application enhancements, additional components, or new applications to support the College’s document imaging and management needs
• Collaborates with product owners, department leaders, and Continuous Improvement team to analyze workflows, identify key performance indicators (KPI), and implement efficiency improvements
• Plan, coordinate, and execute updates and upgrades to software applications and hardware, including developing and executing effective communication plans
• Collaborate with the Information Technology Infrastructure team to ensure adequate backup and recovery processes for document imaging and management systems operate correctly and meet RTO and RPO objectives as defined by product owners
• Implement and manage appropriate  access management that meet the College’s information security and data governance policies and practices
• Ensure all document imaging and management systems meet the compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ADA accessibility) as determined by the College’s policies
• Articulate customers' requirements for desired changes to business processes.
• Alter existing system - configuration, set up
• Determine the best data collection for reporting and participate with the data team to deliver customer-needed data outputs.
• Understand PII data and how it should be stored, protected, and utilized to stay within compliance.
• Produce and maintain documentation detailing application architecture, dependencies, and system requirements necessary for document imaging and management systems to properly function (servers, DB, and reporting systems). Maintain an appropriate understanding of each component necessary to properly manage, operate, and optimize the components.
• Problem-solving skills and customer service are requirements for this position.

• Perform additional duties as the Applications and Integrations Lead may assign.
